Taking a Tumble

Mississippi State Rank: 24 (17)

The Battle of the Bulldogs between Georgia was too much for MSU. It was an ugly loss and the lesser Bulldogs had no answer for Georgia. A team that dominated then #12 LSU 37-7, was stuffed by a stiff Georgia defense and was out gained 404-280.

Up Next: BYU

Oklahoma State Rank: 15 (6)

Read above. TCU put the blast on the Cowboys in Stillwater.

Up Next: Texas Tech

Florida State NR (12)

This was expected. After not playing the last two weekends, the Seminoles fall to 0-2. Riding on the tails of a freshman QB, the rusty squad went down. After missing 2 games due to Hurricane Irma, FSU falls out of the rankings. Don’t expect a resilient FSU to stay not ranked much longer.
