As a degenerate gambler, MACtion my favorite thing ever. For the entire of November, there will be football every single day. Last week TLS went 4-1 for the games. There are 6 games this week with another directional Michigan matchup.
Bowling Green vs. Buffalo, Pick: Buffalo -7
Bowling Green allows almost 500 yards a game and aver 35 points again. Although Buffalo is riding a 4 game losing streak, they have played the best teams in the MAC, losing by less than a TD. Against better teams, BGSU has been unable to keep up losing by more than 10 points.
Miami (Ohio) vs. Akron, Pick: Over 51
The Zips are 4-1 in the division and the Redhawks are 2-3. But its MACtion and records don’t matter. Akron QB Thomas Woodson has thrown for 1800 yards, 14 TDs and 8 interceptions and Miami QB Gs Ragland has thrown for 1400 yards, 12 TDs and 4 INTs. This will be a classic MAC shoot out. Both teams average over 350 yards of offense and allow over 450.
Kent State vs. Western Michigan, Pick: Over 46.5
Kent State is garbage. Is you saw last week, the Golden Flashes couldn’t move the ball averaging about 4 yards a play. Western Michigan is a MAC powerhouse. They just run over Kent State. But this is a very low over for the MAC. Hit the over.
Ohio vs. Toledo, Pick: Toledo – 3.5
Toledo has 40 TDs and Ohio has 46 TD’s on the season. There is no doubt that the two teams are the best teams in the MAC. Toledo has given up 28 TDs and Ohio has given up 27 TDs on the season. Over/Under for the game has been set at 64.5, but this will be a defensive game. Toledo wins by a TD.
Eastern Michigan vs. Central Michigan, Pick: Central Michigan +2
Central can win this game and claim the directional Michigan school crown. CMU are the home dogs, and should be able to get the win over the Eagles.
Ball State vs. Northern Illinois, Pick: Over 52
Ball State just cannot score. In the past 3 games, Ball State has lost by more than 40 points. There is absolutely 0 life in this team. They have given up almost 500 yards a game in the last 3 games and averages about 200. NIU wins big, 50-14.
I’ll throw this post on Monday nights next week. Instead of 10 minutes before the game.
