As a degenerate gambler, MACtion my favorite thing ever. For the entire of November, there will be football every single day. Last week TLS went 4-2 for the games and 8-3 on the season. There are 6 games this week and while the rest of the CFB world is talking about if Miami is the best team in the nation, we are talking if Miami (OH) will cover this week.
Central Michigan vs. Kent State, Pick: Over 46.4
Kent State scored a couple points last week, but gave up 48 points to Western Michigan. Central Michigan won handily over Eastern Michigan and has scored a healthy 19 TD’s in the last 3 weeks and averaging 44 points a game. Hammer the over. This will be more than a 3 score game with Central Michigan hitting the over by itself.
Ohio vs. Akron, Pick: Ohio -13
Ohio has been rolling over teams since losing to Central Michigan by 3 points. The Bobcats have won by atleast 2 scored in the last 4 weeks. Most surprisingly, Ohio put a 28-point beatdown on conference leader Toledo. Ohio will continue to score at will and defeat Akron at home.
Toledo vs. Bowling Green, Pick: Toledo -17
Toledo lost to Ohio last week, but the Rockets will bounce back against Bowling Green on a cold, wet November night. Bowling Green has a ton of players on both sides of the ball that are injured. They has seen an offenseive resurgence in the last two weeks under QB Jarret Doege, but Toledo is still the better team and will win in a blowout.
Eastern Michigan vs. Miami (OH), Pick
Eastern Michigan has a 3-7 record but has covered the spread in 7 of those games. Miami isn’t the best team either, losing to bottom dwellers like Bowling Green and Kent State. Miami is favored at home, so naturally, Eastern will not only cover, but beat Miami on the road in Oxford, OH.
Northern Illinois vs. Western Michigan, Pick: Under 52.5
NIU has a very good defense, allowing only 18.8 points a game, especially against run heavy offenses ranking 3rd in the country in yards per attempt. Western Michigan runs the abll 61.2% of the time. This game will be played in a cold, possibly freezing night. These are two very good teams that will be in a defensive battle
Ball State vs. Buffalo, Pick: Buffalo -20.5
Lock of the Week.
