TLS Picks: Week 11

The college football season is probably the best time of the year. Some may argue that CFB fails to compare to the NFL, but in terms of betting on games, CFB is easy money.

The college football season is probably the best time of the year. Some may argue that CFB fails to compare to the NFL, but in terms of betting on games, CFB is easy money. With that said, here are my 5 bets to place this weekend if you want to make some money. I use MyBookie.ag, so those are the lines I will use.

Last week, I didn’t put up a post due to work so because of that, I have a 10 team special. As it happened last week, lines could change. I will update if lines move more than 1 point. TLS Season Record: 29-28-1

LSU at Tennessee, Pick: Tenneesee +15.5

Brady Hoke is wearing a headset and Tennessee’s Interim HC. Under Brady Hoke, Ball State went from 4-8 in 2003 to 12-0 in 2008 (Ball State lost in the 2009 GMAC bowl, but Hoke did not coach). He also wore a headset.

In his two years at San Diego State, he went 4-8 to 9-4 and a win in the Poinsietta Bowl. And he wore a head set.

From 2011 to 2014, Michigan went from 11-2 to 5-7. And he was known to never wear a headset.

Go Vols. Also lock of the week.

Illinois at #9 Ohio State, Pick: Over 53.5

Yesterday, I wrote for the Illini to lose, but this is a very small over. Ohio State wants all the eyes on them when the CFP makes their picks next Tuuesday. They want a 50 point win over an ant of a team like Illinois. The Buckeyes cover with no help from Illinois.

#24 Michigan at #5 Wisconsin, Pick: Wisconsin -7.5

Michigan may hae one of the best defenses in the country, but when Michigan played Penn State, they got torched for 500 yards, 288 coming on the ground. Hornibrook has 1800 yards and 17 TD’s in the air and Jonathan Taylor has 1500 yards and 12 TD’s on the ground. Wisconisin is at home and want to prove the world that they are ready for the CFP. The Badgers win by 2 TDs.

UAB at Florida, Pick: UAB ML +320

Florida just fired Jim McElwain and UAB is now bowl eligable. Florida has a dodgy defense and UAB can move the ball averaging abot 370 yards a game. I’m all for cinderellas and I love this game. The entire college football world is making fun of the Gators and they are having an abysmal season. UAB has won 4 of the last 5 and Florida is on a 5 game losing streak. I don’t think anybody will be surprised to see Florida lose to a team that lost their team 2 years ago.

#15 UCF at Temple: Over 55.5 is conservative, UCF -14

UCF needs another win. They are a handful of teams that are underranked by both the CFP and the AP Poll. UCF has a high powered offense and statistically the best total offense in the country and ranks 5th in yards per game at 540 yards/game and 2nd in yards per attempt at 7.87 ypa, sitting only behind Oklahoma. UCF has 3-40 point victories and 3-28 point victories. It has beat teams by 4 TD’s on average. Temple doesnt stand a chance.

Rest of the Picks:

NC State at Wake Forest, Pick: NC State +1.5

Minnesota at Northwestern, Pick: Under 40.5

FIU at FAU, Pick: FAU -14

Missouri at Vanderbilt, Pick:Over 66.5

Oklahoma vs. Kansas: Under 70.5
